Land insects function in the soil fertility process, assist decomposition, and to accelerate material cycle so as there are equilibrum on food chains webs cycle. The study aimed examine of land South Sulawesi Regional Polda plantation their surrounding environment benefits. sampling technique was purposive with an exploratory method, namely direct observation or field using Pitffal Trap method at 5 stations. results obtained 172 individuals consisting 14 genera 13 families. Carabidae Gryllidae families insect genus high abundance, while Pentatomidae, Alydidae, Syrphidae, Saturniidae, Stratiomyidae, Blattidae, Gryllotalpidae has low abundances. causing abundance several research stations presence supportive environmental conditions, where habitats some these still preserved natural, abundant sources, locations far from residential areas. found act pollinators, decomposers, predators, parasitoids bioindicators.
